Amber Weeks is an IT Manager of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Corning Incorporated, where she has built a career spanning information security, data privacy, and IT compliance. Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, she brings over a decade of experience translating complex regulatory and security requirements into practical, business-aligned programs.
Amber has spent seven years at Corning Incorporated, progressing from Program Manager in Information Security and Data Privacy to Information Technology Compliance Manager, and now leading Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives across the organization. Prior to Corning, she spent six years as an IT Project Manager at Computer Task Group and four years as an Application Consultant at Arla Foods, where she supported corporate center IT operations. Her career began as a Process Engineer at Weyerhaeuser, giving her a strong foundation in process rigor that continues to inform her approach to risk management today.
Amber holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials that underscore her deep expertise in IT audit, security, and compliance.
