What is CMMC-PNW?
CMMC-PNW is an annual conference on the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for defense contractors in the Pacific Northwest. Held on Washington's Kitsap Peninsula, it brings the CMMC accreditation body, C3PAO assessors, Navy contracting officers, prime contractors, attorneys, and practitioners together for two days of practical sessions on what CMMC requires and how to meet it. CMMC-PNW is hosted by Help Desk Cavalry, Compliance Cavalry, and Security Cavalry.
The third annual event, CMMC-PNW 2026, was held August 17 and 18, 2026, at Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, Washington.
CMMC-PNW is held at Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, on the Kitsap Peninsula waterfront where Agate Passage meets Port Madison. Between sessions you can step outside to the shoreline, the forest, and the Agate Pass Bridge. It is a short trip from Seattle by ferry, with hotel rooms on site, so you can spend two days focused on CMMC without the city noise.
When the sessions wrap, the fun is all on site: the casino floor and FanDuel Sportsbook, six restaurants, and Angeline Spa, all a short walk from the conference rooms and your hotel room.

No. The 2026 agenda covered Level 1 self-assessments, scoping for companies just getting started, and free help from Washington APEX and Impact Washington, alongside Level 2 design and assessment prep.
