Regan Edens is the founder and Chief Information Security and Compliance Officer of DTC Global, a cybersecurity and compliance advisory firm that helps defense industrial base contractors understand, implement, and prepare for CMMC Level 2 and the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information. He has chaired the CMMC Industry Standards Council since January 2022 and was a founding Director on the CMMC Accreditation Body (Cyber AB) Board, where he served as Chairman of the Standards Management Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Training Committee, and he holds CMMC Certified Instructor (#004), Certified Professional, and Provisional Assessor credentials. A national security and cyber thought leader since 2006, he has advised the Department of Defense and U.S. Cyber Command on CUI and CMMC policy and previously led organizations within the Special Operations and Intelligence communities across multiple global deployments. He walks audiences through where CMMC came from, what it requires today, and the current status of Phase 2.
